The appointment of these two professionals as development directors and the opening of the Lyon office will enable Panattoni to immediately intensify its development activities in France, which are currently led by Julien Petit.
“Our idea is to strengthen the development department by building a team of multidisciplinary specialists experienced in industrial real estate," explains Salvi Cals, the managing director of Panattoni France. "Joanna brings to us an undeniable customer-centred approach with her experience in the logistics sector, while Gregory has a geographical approach with his knowledge of local players, particularly in the south of France. Gregory will be based in Lyon for even more responsiveness and proximity to our clients. These two complementary and essential skills will enable us to respond better to our customers and partners, so I am delighted to have both of them in our team,” he adds.
Joanna Jarolim has more than 20 years of expertise in logistics, where she has held various operational positions in project management (Carrefour) and contract management (ID Logistics), and following this in supply chain and retail consulting at various other firms (CGI Business Consulting, EB Expertise and Sia Partners, …), before joining in the Panhard Group in 2020 as the logistics development director. Joanna is a graduate of the Grenoble Management School.
Gregory Walker also has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate sector. In 1998, he joined Immochan, the real estate subsidiary of the Auchan group (since renamed Nhood), where he was respectively a legal officer, a legal manager and a development manager. Nine years later, he took on the position of development director at Redim (GSE Group), before joining Prologis, where he stayed for nine years, and was more recently employed by Logicor. Gregory holds an MBA from the Neoma Business School in Reims.
Each development director will be responsible for the sourcing of land and brownfield site acquisitions and opportunities, along with class-A logistics and industrial redevelopment opportunities throughout France, as well as the leasing activity with their eventual users.
