European industrial real estate market leader Panattoni has launched the construction of a logistics platform of a surface of 62,200 square meters, within the Parc Logistique de l’Aube in Saint-Léger-Prés-Troyes. A second building of 49,900 square meters will also be built
Panattoni expands its real estate offer in France with a new logistics development project located in the Troyes area, in the Aube Logistics Park. The construction of a first 62,000 divisible square meters state-of-the-art building starts today. Its 11.40-meter clear height will optimize storage space and enable it to meet the demands of market players to a greater extent. The building, which is classified as a SEVESO 2 low level facility and will be BREEAM Very Good certified, is scheduled for delivery in the fall of 2023. The construction of the second logistics platform, also classified as a Seveso 2 low level, with a surface area of 49,900 square meters, will be launched during 2023.
"The construction of this first speculative logistics platform, the largest in the area, provides an immediate real estate solution to meet a growing need in this strategic market that is the Aube. A project that could be launched quickly in partnership with the Departmental Council and local players. This project aims to provide proactive solutions to generate demand," says Salvi Cals, the Managing Director of Panattoni France.
The Parc Logistique de l’Aube has been awarded the "Reference Park" label by the department and the region and is one of the "Logistics territories" identified by the State. It is a secure multi-modal park, connected by public transport and based in the heart of a large employment area. Its location along the A5 highway and less than two hours from Paris are the other strengths of the site.
The construction was assigned to the IDEC company.
