To date the ‘City Dock by Panattoni’ concept has been successfully deployed across Germany. City Docks offer businesses of all sizes modern, quality, and eco-sustainable spaces located in prime central locations with first class infrastructure which can be used to design, manufacture and distribute products.
Salvi Cals, Managing Director of Panattoni France says: "Renting a well-served business premises in the heart of the city is a challenge for many companies, as properties are often scarce and of low quality. Panattoni wants to respond quickly to this real estate demand by developing its first speculative ‘City Dock’ business park for the French Market. We want to provide a better alternative to serve the compact surface area real estate segment which is struck by high rents and poor building quality. Our first City Dock will be located in the commune of Moissy-Cramayel, within the "Château d'Eau business park which will offer production and urban distribution premises for SMEs and fast-growing start-ups".
Often built on former brownfields, the ‘City Dock’ parks are notable for their ability to strengthen regional economies and revitalise old commercial areas. They are also flexible and scalable and will offer high quality services and equipment along with a strong focus on sustainability standards. This park’s concept has been designed to meet the operational requirements of urban users while taking into account the well-being of their employees.
Work on the first City Dock in France will start in the summer of 2023 on a plot acquired in October 2022 in Moissy-Cramayel (77). The park will consist of four buildings of 3,000 square meters each, which are divisible into modular rental areas from 700 square meters.
