Panattoni stays with Widzew for a second season

Panattoni, the world’s most active industrial real estate developer, has extended its contract with Widzew Łódź, who will play #ZawszeW13 with its Strategic Sponsor in the upcoming season.

“We first started working with the Łódź club by supporting the Widzew Academy, which was an ideal fit for our responsible business strategy. For the last year, we have been the sponsor of the first team. It was a highly emotional time, as it was Widzew’s second season since its promotion to the Ekstraklasa premiere league and everyone knows that the second season is always the hardest. This makes us all the more proud that we managed to achieve our sporting goals. The team went up by three positions in the table scoring more goals and winning more matches than in the previous year. So do we have the appetite for more? Well of course we do! We are fully aware that success, whether it be in business or sport is achieved through persistent hard work, which is why I believe in our joint undertaking. We are going to play on together – #ZawszeW13!” – stated Robert Dobrzycki, the CEO and co-owner of Panattoni Europe, UK, Middle East and India, who was recently awarded the title of Business Personality of the Season at the Widzew Gala.

The sponsorship agreement signed by Widzew Łódź and Panattoni is to last a year. Just as in the previous season, it stipulates that the Panattoni logo is to be displayed in a prominent position on the football shirts of Widzew’s premiere league team as well as on the stadium. Materials promoting the sponsor are to appear during matches on LED strips, during loudspeaker announcements and in official club media. 

The developer became one of the partners of Widzew Łódź at the end of 2021, taking on the title of Strategic Sponsor of the Widzew Academy. In 2023, it became the Strategic Sponsor of the club’s premiere league team.

Since the beginning of its activities in Łódź, Panattoni has delivered over 2.25 mln sqm of space creating a platform to grow for hundreds of companies and industries. “As an industrial real estate developer we already operate throughout Europe, as well as in India and the Near East, but the history of Panattoni is inextricably linked with Łódź.
