Rzeszów, 9 June 2026. BSH, the manufacturer of Bosch and Siemens domestic appliances, has relocated production to a new, larger factory in Rudna Wielka, near Rzeszów. The small domestic appliances production facility was built by Panattoni. The total value of this project amounted to almost PLN 600 million. Construction began early last year and was completed on schedule. BSH has just moved its production machinery from its previous, nearby site.
The modern facility, covering an area of 73,000 sqm, comprises a production hall, a warehouse and an office section. As a result, all of BSH’s operations in Rzeszów have been consolidated in a single location, which significantly streamlines the company’s operations. During the opening ceremony of the new factory, Konrad Pokutycki, CEO of BSH in Poland, emphasised the importance of this investment.
“The move to a new, larger factory is another step on the path to our company’s development and the best confirmation that BSH feels very much at home in Poland, in Rzeszów. We see good prospects here,” said Konrad Pokutycki. He added that BSH has been operating in Poland for 33 years. It currently employs almost eight thousand people across six factories, logistics centres, two research and development centres, and shared service centres. The company has invested over one and a half billion euros in Łódź, Wrocław and Rzeszów to date. “This has a significant impact on the development of these cities and entire regions,” said the CEO of BSH in Poland.
Michael Baumeister, a member of the management board of the small household appliances division at the BSH Group, assured that the new factory will expand the existing production of vacuum cleaners – Bosch Unlimited cordless models, bagless and washing models – as well as capsule coffee machines. “I am also pleased to announce that next year we will begin production here of an additional category of appliances. This will be a completely new platform for espresso machines. We have created a modern facility with excellent working conditions at ergonomic workstations. “We are proud of our growth in Poland, in Rzeszów, and of our wonderful team, whom I would like to thank for the efficient completion of the construction and relocation of the factory,” said Michael Baumeister, member of the board of the small domestic appliances division at the BSH Group.
An advantage of the new production site in the Rzeszów-Dworzysko Special Economic Zone is its proximity to the motorway and expressway, as well as access to the railway.
“The opening of the new BSH factory is a special project not only because of its scale, but above all because of the level of sophistication and the pace of implementation. In less than a year, we delivered a modern production facility with an area of 73,000 sqm, designed on a BTS basis practically in every detail to meet the needs of one of the most advanced small household appliances factories in the BSH Group. A major challenge was coordinating the construction process with the parallel installation of production lines and the transfer of production without halting plant operations. This required partnership-based cooperation, precise planning and the full commitment of all parties. We are proud that once again we have been able to support BSH with a strategic investment that strengthens the position of the Podkarpacie region and Poland as a major centre of modern manufacturing in Europe,” said Marek Dobrzycki, Partner at Panattoni.
Konrad Fijołek, Mayor of Rzeszów said: “Rzeszów is today recognised as the best city to live in Poland. This is confirmed by independent rankings assessing residents’ quality of life and economic development. It is not only the result of investment in infrastructure, education, transport and the quality of public spaces, but also the presence of companies that create good jobs and give residents a sense of stability and opportunities for development. BSH is an excellent example of such a partner. I am delighted that the company is expanding its operations right here, investing in modern technologies, research and, above all, in people. It is thanks to such companies that Rzeszów is a place where one can not only live well but also build one’s professional and family future.”
BSH is creating 1,000 jobs in the Podkarpacie region. In addition to its production plant, BSH has a research and development centre in Rzeszów, where engineers, designers and design specialists work on new models of small domestic appliances. Last year, the company opened a modern building for this unit in the centre of Rzeszów.
