Distribution centre Panattoni Almere: construction to commence soon

Logistics real estate developer Panattoni Nederland has bought a plot of approximately 3.4 hectares at business park Stichtsekant in Almere (Flevoland, Amsterdam metropolitan area). The plot is visible from the A27 motorway.

The construction of the state-of-the-art Panattoni Park Almere distribution centre will commence soon. The centre complies with all strict sustainability requirements, and is built according to the BREEAM Very Good standard. The building is gas-free, and the total roof surface will be used to generate solar energy. Completion is planned for early 2024.

The new 23,400 m² distribution centre comprises a 19,600 m² warehouse, a 2,100 m² office building and a 1,600 m² mezzanine. The warehouse will have 22 loading docks, 5 overhead doors and 251 parking spaces. Panattoni Almere can be rented as a whole, or can be divided into smaller units - from approximately 3,700 m². Making it suitable for multiple tenants.

JLL and 1530 Real Estate are responsible for the rental of Panattoni Park Almere.

Excellent location

Panattoni's distribution centre at the Stichtsekant business park is located directly off the A27 motorway - 30 kilometres from Amsterdam and Utrecht. Schiphol airport and the port of Amsterdam are a 30 minute drive. Approximately 12 million people live within an hour's drive.

Both location and distribution centre are great for businesses that are active in 'last mile delivery', but also for wholesalers, manufacturing industry and e-commerce companies.'

Employees can reach Panattoni Park Almere without virtually any traffic jams. The distribution centre is also easily accessible by public transport.

International appeal

Business park Stichtsekant has international appeal. Several leading companies, including Volvo, Lidl, Hunkemöller, PostNL, Royal A-ware, Flamco, Dimension, LIS Logistics, Geodis and Antalis, have chosen this location as the basis for their logistics operations. The Flevokust Port, and the container terminal CTU Flevokust, are a thirty minute drive. This makes it possible to transport goods by water. For example, to and from the port of Rotterdam.
