Panattoni Netherlands acquires strategic development location at XL Business Park Twente in Almelo

Panattoni Netherlands, part of Panattoni Europe, has purchased a plot of more than  8 hectares for the development of a  high-end (multi-tenant) distribution center of  55,000 m2 in Almelo.  

The future distribution center "Panattoni Park Twente" is unique because the business park has its own terminal (Combi Terminal Twente)  and there is also a maximum permitted environmental category of 4.1. With a design that includes 48  loading docks, 4 overhead doors,397 parking spaces, a free height of  12.20 meters and solar panels on the roof, this warehouse will be the right addition to the logistics heart of the region. Of course, the warehouse is delivered with a "BREEAM Very Good" standard. This warehouse is a perfect match for E-fulfilment and E-commerce related companies. As a result of the pandemic, these sectors are diligently looking for good locations so that they can continue to meet the demand of the market and of course a guarantee of good transport options of products to the hinterland is essential. Construction will start in the third quarter of 2022, after which the entire building will be completed in the third quarter of 2023.
