Ready-to-occupy Panattoni Park Friedewald awarded the DEBV Brownfield Certificate

Immediately available commercial spaces in Eastern Hessen: With the completion of Panattoni Park Friedewalk, Panattoni offers companies a modern site with excellent infrastructure and thus allows for a sustainable reboot of a former industrial site. The project, which was built on a property measuring 41,000 m², has now been awarded the renowned DEBV Brownfield Certificate. Thus, after the Mercedes-Benz project in Bischweier, this is the second Panattoni development to receive this quality seal.

Located in the strong economic region of Eastern Hessen near Bad Hersfeld, modern and flexibly usable commercial spaces are available to companies from the industrial, production and trade sectors starting immediately. The total surface area of 23,600 m², divided across two units with hall, office and social spaces as well as storage mezzanines. Thanks to the direct connection to the A4 motorway and a 24/7 usage permit, the site offers ideal conditions for companies that are looking for a high-quality property with a strategically favourable location in the middle of Germany.

Originally used for plastics manufacturing, the site has now been repurposed for a new, sustainable use. Panattoni Park Friedewald was specifically adapted to the conditions at the site and is harmoniously integrated into the surrounding environment. In addition to modern architecture, Panattoni implements a variety of ecological measures. A photovoltaics system ensures renewable energy generation, rainwater use reduces water consumption and green roofs contribute toward maintaining ecological balance. In addition, a wildflower meadow as well as nesting boxes have been integrated for species protection. A rain reservoir, designed as a biotope, improves the microclimate and supports biodiversity. In order to also optimise working conditions, recreational areas created by the developer are also available to the future employees. In addition to receiving the Brownfield Certificate from the Deutschen Brownfield Verband (DEBV), Panattoni aims to obtain the DGNB [German Association for Sustainable Construction] gold standard certification.
