Panattoni Park Frankfurt-Ost – development and leasing now in progress

• Logistics park with approx. 30,000 m2 space in Rodenbach
• Development and leasing of three units
• Completion scheduled for mid-2019

Panattoni Europe, the leading project developer of industrial and logistics real estate in Europe, has commenced development without pre-letting of another logistics park on an industrial brownfield site in Rodenbach, in the centre of the Rhine-Main region. In the first half of 2019, a hall of 29,533 square metres as well as office and mezzanine areas of 1,670 and 1,844 square metres respectively will be built. The total area of approx. 30,000 square metres, which can be flexibly divided into three units, is being brokered by Colliers International. The Panattoni Park Frankfurt-Ost will be ready for its first tenants in the middle of next year.

The construction work for the multi-user logistics park with up to three rental units of between 8,000 and 30,000 square metres of hall space began on a filled gravel pit in November 2018. The space can be divided into units of different sizes and customised to suit the specific requirements of the user, thus providing a high degree of flexibility. The hall has a free height of 10 metres. LED lighting and EnEV insulation contribute to an optimal ecological balance and a low carbon footprint. With this energy-efficient concept, the building will be eligible for the DGNB gold certification. The Panattoni Park Frankfurt-Ost is located in the centre of the Rhine-Main Region in the immediate vicinity of Frankfurt Airport. With its proximity to the Hanauer Interchange and the A45 and A66 motorways, the park has excellent transport connections, both in the east-west as well as north-south directions. Furthermore, Rodenbach has its own railway station, making the park conveniently accessible for employees. The site will have parking spaces for 95 cars.

Panattoni’s strategy is to anticipate the demand for industrial and logistics space and plan logistics parks in many top locations such as Rodenbach. “Project development of logistics parks enables us to react quickly to the high market demand. This approach results in bundling effects which benefit users and communities alike.
