Panattoni builds again for C.E. Noerpel

• Panattoni is building another logistics centre for international transport and logistics service provider C.E. Noerpel GmbH
• The new building will be erected on just under 50,000 sqm of brownfield land in Heidenheim
• Completion is scheduled for end of 2020

Panattoni, the leading project developer for industrial and logistics facilities in Europe, is once again developing a logistics centre for the cross-sector, international transport and logistics service provider C.E. Noerpel GmbH. With a total of 16 shipping and logistics facilities, C.E. Noerpel is represented across Germany as well as in Switzerland and, with roughly 3,000 employees, is one of the leading service providers in the field of exports in Southern Germany.

Panattoni is developing 22,811 sqm of logistics space, 1,043 sqm of office and social space as well as 1,813 sqm of mezzanine space on a brownfield land of 49,925 sqm. In line with the requirements of logistics service provider C.E. Noerpel, the built-to-suit facility is WHC-compatible (Water Hazard Class) and will house a crane runway. Within the context of sustainable development, the aim is to achieve DGNB Gold status (German Society for Sustainable Building) for the construction.

C.E. Noerpel will use the facility – with its excellent access to the A7 autobahn – for the storage and transshipment of products from regional industrial companies, such as consumer goods, hygiene products, paper and mechanical parts.

It is the third project undertaken by Panattoni for the logistics service provider. In 2017, Panattoni built C.E. Noerpel a logistics centre in Elsdorf, Lower Saxony, and at the end of 2019, they took on the second project in Odelzhausen.

Construction is scheduled to start in June 2020. The project is expected to be completed at the end of 2020, when the new tenant C.E. Noerpel will move in.
