New logistics space available: Panattoni Park Magdeburg West II is finished

Good news for companies in the metropolitan region of Magdeburg: With the completion of Panattoni Park Magdeburg West II around 28,900 m² of hall space are available for commercial use starting immediately. The sustainable and modern industry and logistics property is the only newly constructed option in the region until the middle of the year.

Panattoni Park Magdeburg West II in Hermsdorf (Hohe Börde) was completed in mid-December 2024 and is immediately available for letting. Three flexible units with hall surface areas starting at 8,700 m² and a total of 1,300 m² of office space and 2,000 m² of mezzanine space offer ideal conditions for companies from the production, eCommerce, automotive and classical logistics sectors. Located directly on the A2 motorway and with an excellent connection to the A14 motorway, Panattoni Park Magdeburg West II closes a supply gap which Panattoni and the municipality recognized early on. “With the completion of Panattoni Park Magdeburg West II, we have built the most sustainable new structure in the region which is currently available to companies for first-time occupancy. In order to meet the requirements of the DGNB gold certification, the pre-equipment for a photovoltaic system has already been installed, which will supply the building with environmentally friendly electricity and produce around 2.8 GWh per year in future. The building is heated without fossil fuels via an air-to-water heat pump. An innovative smart metering system will ensure an efficient balance between energy generation and consumption. Moreover, Panattoni has implemented comprehensive measures to protect the environment and promote biodiversity. Thus, water hazard class III foil installed in the entire hall, A1 fire protection insulation was implemented and special noise emissions reduction measures were taken. Large green areas and a wildflower meadow improve the working environment for the future employees and contribute toward environmental protection.

With the completion of Panattoni Park Magdeburg West II, Panattoni is continuing its development strategy in Central Germany. Another construction project with a total usable surface area of 169,000 m² is being realised directly on the A14 motorway in nearby Könnern. Around 60,900 m² of hall space at Panattoni Park Halle (Saale) Nord are also slated for completion in the first quarter of 2025. Panattoni also offers companies with long-term needs and special requirements other options to establish themselves in the region.
