Innovation Boost for Nuremberg: Panattoni Park in Altdorf creates new jobs

Identify the demand, cover the demand – Panattoni Germany has internalised this guiding principle. For this reason, the project developer is now building a modern and sustainable commercial property in the economically strong metropolitan region of Nuremberg. Around 29,500 m² of total usage space are available at the Panattoni Park Altdorf bei Nürnberg.

The new rental object is being built in cooperation with Montis Real Estate and will be erected in the immediate vicinity of the Altdorf junction of the A3 and A6 federal motorways. The Panattoni Park Altdorf bei Nürnberg is in the middle of the business park on the A6 federal motorway, ideally connected to the bus and rail system and only 30 km from the Nuremberg city centre.

With a hall surface area of 25,000 m², 1,900 m² for offices and 2,500 m² mezzanine space, the building offers space for up to 160 workstations operating in three shifts. Future tenants can design the units individually based on their needs. Since the hall units vary in size, the site is suitable for a variety of user groups, from tech-savvy companies to tenants from the research and development sector, production, through to light industrial and contract-based service providers.

Thanks to fast processes and the Altdorf city administration's innovative manner of working, we were able to implement the forward-thinking development of the commercial park area on the A6. 

The fact that progress can’t come at the expense of the environment is self-evident to Panattoni. That is why Europe’s largest developer of industrial, logistics and commercial properties is taking a comprehensive catalogue of sustainability measures into account, as it does with all its projects. The aim is for the Panattoni Park Altdorf bei Nürnberg to obtain the gold certification from the German Association for Sustainable Building (DNGB). A photovoltaics system on the roof of the hall generates electricity which can be made available to the tenants as needed. Sensible use of rainwater is also planned, as is heating the building with a air-to-water heat pump. Greenery on the roofs of the bicycle and smokers’ shelters as well as a wildflower meadow, an insect hotel and nesting places for birds contribute towards regional species diversity. Extensive well-being areas will ensure the well-being of the future employees. In order to keep noise emissions low for the residents, noise protection walls will also be erected.
