In the Bulwiengesa Germany Rankings, published today, Panattoni Europe is ranked as the second largest logistics property developer in the German market. The logistics real estate development and investment company which operates throughout Europe is on course for further growth, and during the period under review by the Bulwiengesa Study 2011-2015 completed more than 250,000 square metres of logistics space including new buildings in Germany.
With this second place, Panattoni Europe has jumped straight into the Top 3. Fred-Markus Bohne, Managing Partner Panattoni Europe, commented, “This result exceeded our expectations by far. Originally, we had aimed for a rank in the Top 5, so we are all the more delighted to have achieved second place.” After repositioning in the German market at the beginning of 2015, the company’s strategy has been directed towards further growth. He explained further, “The entire team in all locations is highly motivated, committed and fully focussed on our customers’ requirements. This is how we have succeeded in continuously expanding our business. In the last three months alone we have won contracts for five further projects. We intend to stay on this course, and keep the rank as second largest project developer.”
Panattoni Europe is also expanding across international borders and has now reached the level of four million square metres of logistics space development throughout Europe, of which about 800,000 square metres are currently under construction. In the course of the company’s expansion in Germany, the logistics real estate experts moved into larger premises in September. The new head office is now at Am Sandtorkai 54 in the Hamburg Hafencity. Panattoni Europe has 22 employees in Germany.
