Panattoni Europe, market leader in industrial real estate in Europe, has announced new activities and plans in Slovakia. In addition, Panattoni Europe has introduced a new Development Manager for Slovakia – Erik Ivaničko.
Panattoni Europe is not unknown in the area of industrial parks and real estate in our region. On the contrary, its market share in Poland is estimated to be around 50%, in the Czech Republic has built up to 1,000,000 sq m so far - and Panattoni Park Prague Airport is very popular in the Czech Republic. However, the company has also invested in our territory. As a developer of industrial premises in Europe, Panattoni Europe has expanded, for example, the premises adjacent to the PSA Peugeot-Citroën car factory in Trnava.
New activities, stronger PR. Within the current possibilities of the Slovak market, the developer sees a strong potential in Slovakia and, therefore, wants to continue to implement its plans – this time as a separate acquisition. Erik Ivaničko has become responsible for business, marketing and PR activities. “Panattoni Europe is a major player in the development market in Central Europe, which is clearly evidenced by examples from the neighbouring countries. Our activities in Slovakia started a few years ago, and I am very happy that we can fully continue to implement them. The new position is a great challenge for me, but I approach it with maximum responsibility and humility. I am looking forward to our closest activities and plans, which we will soon present to both the professional and general public,” said the new Development Manager.
According to Erik Ivaničko, the potential of Slovakia and the Czech Republic is mainly in the strategic position of both countries. Therefore, Panattoni Europe will continue to mainly build industrial parks and other industrial premises.
“When we entered the Czech Republic 12 years ago, it seemed that we did not have a chance to establish ourselves significantly, because the economic crisis struck, and the most lucrative sites had already been taken apart by the big players. Nevertheless, we managed to find a hole in the market and finally we made it to become the most active industrial developer in the country. And we have the same ambitions in Slovakia now,” said Pavel Sovička, Managing Director of Panattoni Europe for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
