A new industrial building is under construction at Panattoni Park Prague Airport II and will cover 25 000 square meters in the first stage of construction. If its future occupant decides to expand, however, the industrial space can grow up to 45 000 square meters. Thanks to speculative construction, Panattoni Europe thus offers Clients the potentially largest available building in Prague. While the first part will be fully available for operations in March 2018, the potential expansion could begin within 5 months from the conclusion of a contract with a client. The building will offer state-of-the-art space for logistics and light manufacturing, and will comply with the strictest ecological requirements.
“The economy and industrial development have completely changed ten years after the economic crisis. This is apparent in speculative construction, which is now experiencing a revival especially in Prague and other large cities. During the crisis, these buildings had remained empty but now we are seeing a trend, where as soon as the construction is being completed we are already very close to concluding a contract with a new lessee,” says Pavel Sovička, Managing Director of Panattoni Europe for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Special features of the new industrial building will be large truck yards with more depth, which will provide better maneuver space. Parking spots for trucks will be available in close proximity to the hall. The new project thus meets the most demanding logistics criteria. An advantage of the location is a great connection to the D6 highway and excellent bus and train public transport connections to Prague and Kladno – the largest town in Central Bohemia.
“The new building will comply with the prestigious international BREEAM certification on the Very Good level. Green buildings with a minimal impact on the environment are a trend because they conserve the environment as well as the investor's expenses,” says Klára Sobotková, Business Director for Panattoni Europe for Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Panattoni Park Prague Airport II is experiencing a construction boom. Several industrial buildings have already been built here within the short period of two years since its founding. The industrial park lies near the town of Pavlov in the Kladno region in close proximity to the Prague airport and exit 7 of the D6 highway to Carlsbad. It is the commercial successor of the already successful industrial zone Panattoni Park Prague Airport I near Dobrovíze.
