The rapid expansion of Panattoni Park Pilsen West near Nýřany in the Pilsen Region is continuing. Panattoni Europe, the leading industrial developer in Europe, has delivered the fifth hall totalling more than 13 000 m2 and has handed over half of it to the tenant, International Automotive Components (IAC). The world’s leading car interior supplier will be producing innovative injection molded dashboard insulation in the new factory and will create 80 new jobs for permanent staff in the region.
“I am very pleased that we are expanding our client portfolio by adding such a major supplier and am even more pleased that our collaboration will be continuing. It gives us great pleasure that we are helping to develop the most important sector of the Czech industry,” says Pavel Sovička, Managing Diector of Panattoni Europe for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
“I very much appreciate Panattoni Europe’s flexibility and its willingness to meet our specific requirements during the construction phase. In the new premises we will be applying an innovative foam technology which required a special permit and therefore the building needed to be designed accordingly so that the technology could be installed,” says Zdenek Fait, General Manager IAC Czech Republic.
The Pilsen region has recently become a high-tech manufacturing centre in the Czech Republic with an increasing concentration of suppliers in the automobile and mechanical industries. Panattoni Park Pilsen West gives employment to highly qualified workforce and boasts excellent transport infrastructure, which has direct connection to the European highway and rail networks.
Last year Panattoni Europe became the largest industrial developer in Europe by volume of new construction. This year it has decided to further expand with a bold concept based on revitalisation of brownfields and sustainable development.
