Panattoni, Europe’s leading industrial-logistics real estate developer, announces the long-term lease of one of the northern warehouse units at “Panattoni Park Porto Valongo,” covering 3,334.75 sqm, to a company specializing in logistics solutions. The transaction, mediated by CBRE Portugal, has facilitated an agreement between both parties, ensuring the best conditions for a project of this nature.
This complex is Panattoni’s first project in Portugal and consists of two buildings with areas of 27,000 m² and 47,000 m², respectively, totaling 75,000 m² of custom-built logistics and cross-docking platforms. In the northern warehouse, 7,500 m² remain available for a third tenant, while in the southern warehouse, with 47,000 m², there is still availability for either a single tenant or multiple tenants.
“Panattoni Park Porto Valongo” is a state-of-the-art logistics park designed to offer operational flexibility, allowing use in various modules or as a unified space. The project holds a BREEAM 'Very Good' certification, ensuring it meets the highest sustainability standards. The facilities include low-consumption LED lighting and electric vehicle chargers for last-mile delivery, promoting the use of clean energy and reducing environmental impact.
The park's strategic location, 25 minutes from Porto's city center and with direct access to the A41 and A4 highways, offers optimal solutions for storage, distribution, and last-mile delivery, making it a strategic choice. The complex provides exceptional logistical advantages due to its proximity to key transport infrastructures. It is located 27.7 km from Porto Airport; 128 km from Tui, Pontevedra; 322 km from Lisbon, and only 23 km from the center of Porto. This location facilitates both national and international access, reinforcing its position as a key asset for logistics operations.
This logistics park becomes a key hub for the tenant, providing a modern and efficient infrastructure that optimizes their logistics operations in the region, strengthening its position as a strategic asset for distribution and storage.
We are proud to have started our journey in Portugal with this logistics park, being our first project in Portugal, and which has been a starting point for many other successful projects in the country. We hope that this collaboration will be fruitful and lasting, further strengthening our presence in the Portuguese market. Gustavo Cardozo, Managing Director Panattoni Iberia
