Panattoni, the world’s largest privately owned industrial developer, a leadership transition in its Iberian business as Gustavo Cardozo Lupi will be leaving the company’s operations in Spain and Portugal.

Since joining Panattoni in 2020, Gustavo has played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding the company’s presence across the Iberian Peninsula. Under his leadership, Panattoni built a strong local platform, assembled an experienced team, and launched a significant pipeline of logistics and industrial developments that have positioned the company as an established player in both markets.

Panattoni Iberia is today the most active logistics and industrial developer on the Iberian Peninsula. Since entering Spain and Portugal in 2020, the company has delivered 620,000 sqm of logistics and industrial space. With a presence in 15 Spanish provinces and three Portuguese cities, Porto, Santarém and Lisbon, Panattoni has built a strong track record in developing high-quality assets for a wide range of sectors, including logistics, automotive, food, and textiles.

Robert Dobrzycki, CEO and Co-Owner of Panattoni Europe, UK, Middle East & India said:

“Gustavo has made an important contribution to building our business in Spain and Portugal. Thanks to his leadership, we have created a solid foundation with an excellent team, strong client relationships, and a robust development pipeline. We thank him for his commitment and wish him all the best.”

This transition marks the next stage in Panattoni’s continued growth in Iberia. With a well-established platform and several projects underway, the company remains strongly committed to further expansion in both Spain and Portugal. To ensure continuity, Arantxa Prado has been appointed Interim Managing Director for Spain and Portugal.

Arantxa brings extensive international experience in private equity, real estate, and capital markets. Before joining Panattoni as Head of Capital Markets, she held senior investment roles at Eneas Alternative Investments and previously spent more than six years in Hong Kong, where she led the Asian Secondary Investment Fund and executed transactions across Europe and Asia. Earlier in her career, she worked at Pantheon and Standard Life Private Equity and also founded Cassia Investments, an emerging markets investment platform focused on consumer goods in Asia.

Since joining Panattoni, Arantxa has played a key role in structuring and executing capital markets transactions and supporting the company’s growth strategy in Spain and Portugal.

“Arantxa combines deep investment expertise with a strong understanding of our business and the Iberian market,” added Robert Dobrzycki. “Her experience, leadership, and strategic perspective make her exceptionally well positioned to guide our operations during this next phase of growth.”

Panattoni remains fully committed to its clients, partners, and employees in Spain and Portugal and looks forward to building on the strong foundations established over the past six years.
