Panattoni Europe, Poland's leader in the industrial space market, has expanded its portfolio of e-commerce customers. Pierce AB - Sweden's largest online seller of motorcycle parts, equipment and clothing, is coming to Panattoni Park Szczecin. The company has leased more than 11,000 sqm of modern space and lease execution was mediated by the advisory agency JLL.
Panattoni Europe is activating European customers away from the mainstream industrial space market in Poland, but instead en route to Berlin. As a result, the Swedish company Pierce AB is coming to Panattoni Park Szczecin, having leased more than 11,000 sqm of modern space - with nearly 10,200 sqm to serve as warehouse space, and more than 800 sqm to be organised into offices. Pierce AB is the e-commerce leader in the motorcycle business - its online stores XLmoto and 24mx offer parts, equipment, clothing and all types of accessories for motorcycles, including motocross. The choice of Panattoni Park Szczecin will enable the company to distribute its products quickly and reliably throughout Scandinavia, Germany, as well as Poland, where its stores are present, too.
"As an e-commerce leader, we are well aware of how vital delivery times are. Moving our distribution centre to Szczecin will facilitate shipment processing for customers across Europe. The key aspect which decided the choice of this location over others was its proximity to the Scandinavian and Western European markets, as well as the availability of well-qualified staff" said Jacek Obral, Country Manager Pierce AB.
Szczecin has for some time been making its presence known in the warehousing market - while earlier it was regarded as a very peripheral location with local appeal only, today it conquers the market. This is because of the direct vicinity of the German border and Poland's northern neighbours, with the geographical potential enhanced by the now-operational network of modern national roads. This does not go unnoticed by tenants, and we, as a developer, respond to their needs - was the comment on the presence of Pierce AB at Panattoni Park Szczecin offered by Robert Dobrzycki, Managing Partner Panattoni Europe.
Panattoni Park Szczecin is a modern distribution centre planned to total 35,500 sqm in two buildings, which can be extended by a further 35,000 sqm. Each building will feature unloading docks, ground-level access entrance gates, spacious service yards and additional parking spaces. In turn, the strategic location of the facility - right next to the Szczecin Dąbie interchange, just 1 km from the A6 motorway leading to Berlin, and close to the S3 expressway, coupled with the immediate vicinity of the Special Economic Zone and the nearby railway station, make for an excellent logistics and production base for tenants.
