Maciej Zawada appointed Head of Business Development at Panattoni BTS

Panattoni, the world’s most active industrial real estate developer, is strengthening its structures – Maciej Zawada has been appointed Head of Business Development at Panattoni BTS. This decision reflects the dynamic growth of the company’s build-to-suit (BTS) operations, which play a key role in the Polish and European industrial sectors.

In his new role, Maciej Zawada will be responsible for the development strategy and implementation of BTS projects tailored to individual client needs. Panattoni has already delivered over 4 million sqm in Poland under the BTS model, including numerous technologically advanced manufacturing facilities. This segment’s growth is supported by nearshoring and friendshoring processes, which Poland and Central Europe have greatly benefited from.

Maciej Zawada has been associated with Panattoni for nearly seven years, contributing to numerous new projects. In 2024 alone, the developer completed several BTS projects, including the TRILUX factory in Świdnik (23,000 sqm), the Maxcess plant in Łubowo (13,500 sqm), a facility in Knurów for the Fortaco Group (34,000 sqm), and the next phase of the extensive K-FLEX campus in Uniejów (seventh stage, 20,000 sqm). The company also began constructing a facility for Valmet Automotive in Żary (8,800 sqm). The BTS division has also entered the Baltic markets of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

Maciej Zawada has extensive experience in the real estate industry, previously gained at CBRE Poland. He holds a degree in International Relations from the University of Warsaw and a degree in Marketing and Management from the Warsaw School of Economics.
