Panattoni Triumphs Once Again at the CIJ Awards!

Investment and Personality of the Year Award. Panattoni Europe, the leading industrial developer in Poland, received two awards during the prestigious CIJ Awards Ceremony, organized by one of the most renowned monthly magazines devoted to real estate development in Central Eastern Europe.

An award was granted to the Panattoni Park Mysłowice distribution center, as well as to Robert Dobrzycki, Panattoni Europe Managing Partner for the CEE region.

Awards Ceremony 

The CIJ Awards Ceremony was held on November 4, 2009 in InterContinental Hotel in Warsaw. During the ceremony the distribution park, Panattoni Park Mysłowice, was granted an award in the category of Best Warehouse/Logistics Industrial & Logistics Development of the Year 2009, whereas Panattoni's CEO Robert Dobrzycki received the Personality of the Year Award. This is already the second award granted to the Panattoni CEO and a Panattoni Europe's investment: last year during the seventh Awards Ceremony, it was Panattoni Park Pruszków that triumphed.

Best Logistics Park 

The awarded park, Panattoni Park Mysłowice, is an exceptional investment in the developer's portfolio. Upon completion it will be one of the largest parks in Poland, with a area totaling 190,500 m². In the first construction phase a facility covering 20,000 m² was developed and subsequently fully leased by ND Logistics. In 2009, upon the completion of the second development phase the park was expanded by an area of 106,000 m². Intermarché, DPD, Coca-Cola, Rohlig, Inter Cars, Manuli Hydraulics, Magneti Marelli and CAT are among Panattoni tenants. In addition to investing in the distribution center in Mysłowice, Panattoni also reconstructed the road network, including the communication node on the S1 Expressway, for a sum total of PLN 30m. It will connect not only the distribution center but also the city of Mysłowice to the S1 Route.

Personality of Year 2009 

In addition to Panattoni's investment, the robust and efficient management of the company was recognized at the CIJ Awards Ceremony. The Personality of the Year Award went to Robert Dobrzycki, Panattoni Managing Partner for Central and Eastern Europe. According to the lease contracts concluded since the beginning of 2009, the company holds a 41% stake in the market. The CIJ Awards are yet another distinction granted by the real estate market experts to Panattoni Europe and its investments. Last year the Łódź-based investments, Panattoni Park Łódź East, was awarded at two prestigious ceremonies: CEE Quality Awards and CEPIF Awards.

Panattoni Park Mysłowice is Panattoni Europe's flagship investment. Upon completion it will be one of the largest parks in Poland, with an area totaling 190,500 m². In the first construction phase a facility totaling 20,000 m² was developed and subsequently 100% leased by ND Logistics. In the following phase the park was expanded by 3 facilities: facility D covering an area of 23,000 m², facility C - 22,000 m² and facility G - 33,000 m². In September 2009 facility F was constructed, with an area of 28,000 m², which is the park's fifth building, fully leased by Intermarche. The remaining tenants of the center include: Coca-Cola, DPD, Rohlig, Inter Cars, Manuli Hydraulics, Magneti Marelli and CAT.
