The year 2014 was transformative for a number of reasons. It will go down in history as the most active since the crisis and at the same time a record breaker. This was the year when Panattoni Europe closed spectacular transactions, not only in Poland, but in the whole CEE - 341,000 sqm of space built for Amazon - in Poland (246,000 sqm) and the Czech Republic (123,000 sqm). The tenant sentiment, too, showed that last year was exceptional, characterised by high demand. As of the end of 2014 the existing warehouse space reached 8,541,000 sqm.

Robert Dobrzycki, Managing Partner Panattoni Europe makes no secret of his satisfaction as he comments of this feat: " 2014 will definitely go down in Panattoni's history. It was a record-breaker in terms of ongoing investments - 512,000 sqm delivered, with two investments completed for Amazon in record time, as well as new leases signed for 653,000 sqm. We also successfully debuted in new roles as an industrial development general contractor, as well as a developer of new multi-let projects. In combination with the rest of our portfolio it shows that we can navigate a broad spectrum of opportunities and look forward to positive market developments in the year that has just began as we celebrate 10 years of our presence in Europe."
Awards. Panattoni Europe's systematically pursued development strategy does not go unnoticed by the industry, whose experts gave the company as many as 10 awards last year - Panattoni won three Developer of the Year titles in its category in three prestigious competitions - CIJ Awards, Eurobuild Awards and EuropaProperty. The Contract/Project of the Year recognition awards went to the Amazon projects, but also BTS Castorama and Panattoni Park Stryków, the latter of which was chosen as Best Warehouse by the tenants. The jury of CIJ Awards named Robert Dobrzycki Leader of the Year 2014, and also gave high marks to the marketing team, headed by Anita Pietrykowska, which was recognised as Best Marketing Team of 2014.
