Panattoni Europe with a record year in 2014.

The commercial real estate leader delivered more new industrial space to the CEE market than any other developer - 512,000 sqm, and then welcomed in the New Year with a spectacular 400,000 sqm under development. Panattoni Europe also leads the net take-up ranking of facility owners in Poland with 23 per cent and can boast the highest volume of transactions concluded in the CEE region - 653,000 sqm, of which 75 per cent was in new leases.

The year 2014 was transformative for a number of reasons. It will go down in history as the most active since the crisis and at the same time a record breaker. This was the year when Panattoni Europe closed spectacular transactions, not only in Poland, but in the whole CEE - 341,000 sqm of space built for Amazon - in Poland (246,000 sqm) and the Czech Republic (123,000 sqm). The tenant sentiment, too, showed that last year was exceptional, characterised by high demand. As of the end of 2014 the existing warehouse space reached 8,541,000 sqm.

Facts 2014 - Panattoni Europe in a nutshell. The developer delivered the highest quantity of new space in Poland and the Czech Republic, an astounding 512,000 sqm - with 462,000 sqm in Poland alone (more than twice as much as the runner-up according to the JLL summary). The completed projects included first and foremost the said record-breaking facilities for Amazon near Wrocław and Poznań, but also the BTS facility for Castorama (50,000 sqm) in Stryków, BTS Polaris (34,000 sqm) in Opole, or BTS K-Flex (16,000 sqm) in Wieleń, as well as the new extensions of own parks. But that is not all - as of 31 December last, Panattoni Europe was building more than any other developer, with as much as 400,000 sqm in the CEE region and 240,000 sqm in Poland, including a 45,000-square-metre production facility for GE Industrial Solution in Bielsko-Biała, a 11,000-square-metre production hall for Pilkington in Chmielów, not to mention the ongoing extension projects in own parks. Panattoni Europe is also the net take-up leader among facility owners in Poland with 23 per cent, and leads in terms of the volume of transactions concluded in the CEE region - 653,000 sqm, of which 75 per cent was in new leases.

In combination with the rest of our portfolio it shows that we can navigate a broad spectrum of opportunities and look forward to positive market developments in the year that has just began as we celebrate 10 years of our presence in Europe."

Awards. Panattoni Europe's systematically pursued development strategy does not go unnoticed by the industry, whose experts gave the company as many as 10 awards last year - Panattoni won three Developer of the Year titles in its category in three prestigious competitions - CIJ Awards, Eurobuild Awards and EuropaProperty. The Contract/Project of the Year recognition awards went to the Amazon projects, but also BTS Castorama and Panattoni Park Stryków, the latter of which was chosen as Best Warehouse by the tenants. The jury of CIJ Awards named Robert Dobrzycki Leader of the Year 2014, and also gave high marks to the marketing team, headed by Anita Pietrykowska, which was recognised as Best Marketing Team of 2014.

The year 2015 will be a special one for Panattoni Europe. The company will be celebrating its 10 years in Central Europe.
