Panattoni Europe named Industrial Developer of the Year at CEEQA 2017 AWARDS

Panattoni Europe comes out top among ten contestants! The jury of this year’s edition of the prestigious CEE Quality Awards (CEEQA) 2017 decided to award the company its fifth Industrial Developer of the Year title. The awards ceremony took place on 26 April at the SOHO Factory.

The Industrial Developer of the Year title for the achievements of 2016 goes to Panattoni Europe. The verdict was announced on 26 April 2017 at the awards ceremony of the prestigious CEE Real Estate Quality Awards (CEEQA) 2017. This is Panattoni Europe’s fifth title in this category. In this year’s edition, a total of 10 prominent CEE industrial space developers were nominated. The jury, composed of respected senior representatives of market leading firms, assessed the nominees in terms of their business achievements in industrial projects last year, company performance and contribution to the growth of this segment of the real estate sector. Nominee evaluation, selection and award processes were overseen by the international advisory firm Deloitte.

Panattoni Europe – the best out of ten contestants! The choice of the Industrial Developer of the Year at CEEQA 2017 was decided by hard data – Panattoni’s business performance and achievements in 2016. And these include: 1,250,000 sqm in signed leases and 900,000 sqm under development at year-end in Poland and the Czech Republic; winning contracts with the biggest players, such as TNT, Kellogg, H&M, Tchibo, IFA Rotorion, DSV, Kaufland, Carrefour and, last but not least, the development of another record-breaking (161,500 sqm) investment in Poland for Amazon, this time near Szczecin. This city is also one of the pioneering locations for the industry – next to Lublin and Bydgoszcz – and has established a firm foothold on Panattoni Europe’s map of industrial properties. In terms of completed projects in the CEE region in 2016, these include: 73,000 sqm for Tchibo at Panattoni Park Cheb in the Czech Republic; 15,900 sqm for TNT in Poland and 21,000 sqm for Bombardier.

Industrial Developer of the Year for 2016 (awarded at CEEQA 2017) is the fifth CEEQA title won by Panattoni Europe. In previous editions the company won the award for its business achievements in 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2016. Moreover, Carl Panattoni, the company’s founder and owner, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement in Real Estate award, while Robert Dobrzycki was named Personality of the Year 2011. Dobrzycki offered the following comment on this year’s recognition: “The year 2016 was very busy for us – so I won’t try to hide how satisfied I am with this award. I dedicate it to the whole team who had worked so hard all of last year and definitely deserved it.”
