Panattoni Europe completed the project for Sanden Manufacturing Poland - 6,500 sqm in Polkowice

Panattoni Europe, Poland's leader in the industrial property market, announces the completion of an investment for Sanden Manufacturing Poland. The facility features close to 6,5000 sqm and was built in Polkowice, next to the existing manufacturing plant. The lease was signed for 12 years. The opening ceremony of Sanden Logistics Poland - – the first Sanden logistics centre in Europe took place on 21 February 2017.

The 6,500-square-metre warehouse has a capacity of 6,200 pallet spaces. The warehouse building is connected with the manufacturing hall by a tunnel, partly running overhead, via which the products made by Sanden Manufacturing Poland will be transported to the warehouse, from where in turn they will be shipped to the clients of the holding company in all of Europe. The first shipments are anticipated at the beginning of March.

Sanden Logistics Poland was built in collaboration with Panattoni Europe, which is part of the Panattoni Development Company, one of the largest industrial developers in the world. The company supports local businesses by delivering multifunctional warehouse facilities suitable for various purposes, including build-to-suit projects custom tailored to the tenant’s needs.

As a result, the modern complex will enable Sanden to flexibly and efficiently manage the flow of goods for the largest car manufacturers.” He then adds “This development is also an excellent example of diversifying solutions in terms of the ownership structure: some of the space is owned by Sanden, and some of it will be leased.”

The general contractor of the logistics centre is Mirbud S.A. – a building company with nearly 30 years’ experience and a portfolio of more than 350 prestigious investment projects in all segments of construction.
