Panattoni Europe won as many as four awards in the 12th edition of CIJ Awards Poland, organised by the CEE development industry monthly. The awards were given to Panattoni in the following categories: "Industrial Developer of the Year", "Industrial Lease of the Year" and "Marketing & PR Team of the Year". Moreover, Robert Dobrzycki was acknowledged for "Leadership of the Year".
CIJ Awards are a prestigious competition which brings together representatives of the property development and real estate sector of Central and Eastern Europe every year. This year marked the 12th edition, and the award ceremony took place on 8th November at the InterContinental Hotel in Warsaw. Panattoni Europe received as many as four prestigious awards. "Industrial Developer of the Year" which reflects the developer's activity in the market, "Industrial Lease of the Year" in recognition of the BTS facility for Pilkington, and "Marketing & PR Team of the Year". Moreover, Robert Dobrzycki, Managing Partner Panattoni Europe for Central and Eastern Europe, was credited for "Leadership of the Year" for the fourth time. Outside of Poland, the competition also takes place annually in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.
Industrial Developer of the Year 2012 and Industrial Lease of the Year 2012
The "Industrial Developer of the Year" award is meant to reflect the developer's role as the most active player in the market. Since the beginning of this year, Panattoni delivered 240,000 m2 of new space to the market. In turn, the "Industrial Lease of the Year" title was awarded to the build-to-suit project, dedicated to one of the biggest manufacturers of glass and glass products, Pilkington. The facility totals 35,000 sqm, including a 13,500-square-metre manufacturing hall. The warehousing section covers 16,700 sqm, whereas offices were planned on 1,600 sqm of space. The factory was built at the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone EURO-PARK WISŁOSAN, in Chmielów, a few kilometres from Tarnobrzeg and approximately thirty kilometres from Sandomierz. The contract concluded to build the facility was recognised by PAIiIZ as the biggest and most significant foreign investment started in 2011 in Poland.
