Panattoni Europe, market leader in industrial real estate, commenced the construction of a new distribution centre – Park Warsaw South. The investment was inaugurated by CTDI by symbolically turning the first sod for the construction of its headquarters. The ceremony took place on 14 June, and representatives of the developer, tenants and local authorities took part in it. Completion of this part of the investment is anticipated in February 2019. The lease transaction was mediated by the advisory firm JLL.
The facility developed by Panattoni Europe will be the CTDI’s new head office in Poland. The enterprise offers a comprehensive service in terms of engineering, repair and logistics to leading telecommunications companies. The leading area of the company's operations in Poland is the service of mobile devices. The main part in this 14,500-square-metre facility will be the telephone repair area of 10,980 sqm, while the remaining 3,520 sqm will be allocated to office space. The investment will be delivered in the BTS formula – the customised building structure with a glass facade in the office section will be fully adapted for the purposes of round-the-clock operations.
Accordingly, the interiors will feature additional LED lighting, and the temperature will be maintained at 20 degrees Celsius. Moreover, special anti-static (ESD) flooring with will be used in allocated sections.
The new CTDI location will be nearly twice the size of the existing repair space, so the company will be able to take on new staff – on top of the 700 people they employ today. Paweł Piekut, Managing Director CTDI in Poland comments “We are investing in our new head office with a view to new contracts and launching new services in the Polish market. With a modern facility, we will be able to provide our Clients with even higher service quality and flexibility, and our Employees with very good working conditions. From the outset of our business we have been based in the Raszyn commune. We are hoping that with this investment we will become an even more attractive employer, contributing to the continued development of the community in which we operate.”
This is confirmed by Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director, Panattoni Europe: “Because CTDI employs staff long-term, they attach special importance to the region in which they have been operating for years. That is why it has been our priority to offer them the best possible location. I am happy that Panattoni Park Warsaw South has fulfilled their expectations. The site is located right next to the new S7 route, just 15 minutes from central Warsaw, and the proximity of the city centre ensures good access to public transport for the employees of the park and means that they can open their business premises on the doorstep of the capital city.”
Panattoni Park Warsaw South is the another investment by the developer in the southern suburbs of Warsaw. The excellent location of the park in Sękocin Nowy, in the immediate vicinity of the Janki junction on the new S7 expressway creates the optimal conditions for distribution in Central Poland, as well as across Europe. The investment will comprise 2 state-of-the-art class A warehouse buildings totalling approx. 38,000 sqm. The excellent location of this distribution centre is without a doubt one of its key advantages, guaranteeing fast and effective logistics.
