Panattoni Europe has commenced the final stage in the build-out of Panattoni Park Czeladź. The new 10,700-square-metre facility will be leased by Johnson Electric Poland, part of a transnational Group from the electrotechnical engineering sector, a leading provider of components for automotive applications, household appliances, industrial and medical automation systems. The investment will consist of industrial space (8,100 sqm) as well as office and staff facilities (2,600 sqm), and will house production and assembly lines moved from the Group's other plants. The transaction was mediated by Jones Lang LaSalle.
"Johnson Electric was looking for a reliable partner, who would be able to build a manufacturing facility of this kind within a set timeframe, i.e. by the end of the first quarter of 2013. Our customer made it clear that the potential location had to be near the existing factory in Dąbrowa Górnicza - says Wojciech Zoń, Senior Consultant at Industrial and Warehouse Space Department, Jones Lang LaSalle, describing cooperation with Johnson Electric - The reason for this was to enable as many employees as possible to move to the new location. From this point of view, it was also important that the planned factory should have good transport connections with the city. We chose Panattoni Park Czeladź, because in our opinion it perfectly matched the expectations of Johnson Electric".
