BTS dla Solaris Bus & Coach

Solaris is a European leader in the production of city buses, particularly with low- and zero-emission propulsion systems. Its vehicles are available in more than 30 countries and the company is constantly investing in further development. Panattoni's facility in Bolechowo near Poznań allows the company to store parts for vehicle production in an adjacent hall, and the investment itself will play a key role in the supply chain of parts and components for bus and trolleybus production.

The buildings have been interconnected in terms of road infrastructure and utilities. Within the total area of 10,100 sq m, as much as 2,250 sq m were occupied by modern social and office spaces, adequately audited for airflow, acoustics and daylight access. In both parts, Panattoni has implemented advanced solutions for smoke detection. In the area of the multi-storey warehouse platforms, the ventilation system, the smoke removal system and additional levels of the sprinkler system were enhanced. Panattoni also adapted the layout of the lighting and the number and layout of the internal hydrants to the racking system.

The roof structure was reinforced and photovoltaic cells with a total capacity of 260 kWp were installed, and the distribution of the panels was adapted to the layout of the smoke extraction dampers and skylights. In addition, 80 kWp charging stations were placed on the site. There are also plans to retrofit photovoltaic systems in the reception hall and the new service facility, among others. We have also implemented the concept of covering passenger car parks with roofs equipped with photovoltaic cells. The investment will undergo BREEAM certification.

The facility in Bolechów supports our client's factory, fitting in perfectly with its processes and providing an important base for the company's growing production. We are delighted that the cooperation with Solaris Bus & Coach has been so fruitful and, despite changes to the concept during implementation, we have managed to deliver the facility in very good time.
