The facility was constructed according to the planned schedule, despite encountering initial difficulties in the construction's commencement. These challenges were exacerbated by factors such as the onset of the second wave of COVID-19. The pandemic primarily disrupted the preparatory phase of the project. The construction process necessitated multiple permits and decisions, a process that inherently consumes a considerable amount of time, even under ordinary circumstances. Unfortunately, during the pandemic, the relevant offices were forced to operate in a limited capacity due to the 'closed office' approach, and a significant portion of their staff being on sick leave.

Nevertheless, against these odds, we achieved success—an achievement for which significant credit is owed to the Rzeszów Poviat Starosty and its various departments, including the architecture division, as well as the Rzeszów Poviat Starosty Management Representatives. Right from the outset, these officials championed the investment and demonstrated a deep comprehension of its importance. This was particularly evident as multiple modifications to the project had to be implemented during the course of the work, necessitating separate processing of the requisite permits.

The adherence to such a disciplined execution approach would have been unattainable without the unwavering commitment exhibited by the client. The representatives from Phoenix Contact not only displayed a profound understanding of the intricacies of the process but also actively engaged in all facets of the project, reacting adeptly and providing robust support to Panattoni throughout the process.

The fact that the factory was erected within an abbreviated timeframe is noteworthy, alongside the concurrent establishment of the electricity, district heating, water, rainwater, and sanitary sewer connections, as well as the creation of two exits. This outcome is a testament to the collaborative endeavor. The achievement necessitated close collaboration with local entities such as the fire brigade, water supply, energy providers, building supervision authorities, labor inspectors, and not least, the Sanitary Inspectorate—simultaneously engaged in combating the COVID crisis.

Completed within an unprecedented five-month span, the AC and DC charging systems factory now occupies the premises of the Rzeszów-Dworzysko Science and Technology Park. Encompassing an area of 15,000 square meters, this state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to the manufacturing and testing of cutting-edge electric vehicle charging systems for both global customers and electromobility infrastructure operators. The equipment produced by Phoenix Contact E-Mobility, including the High Power Charging variant, stands as a premier solution within Europe for rapid and secure electric vehicle charging. Moreover, the newly established facility will also house the client's department for new product and technology development.
