Panalpina, a Swiss logistics company has officially opened a new warehouse space at Panattoni Park Prague Airport II near Pavlov and presented the premises to its clients. Industrial developer Panattoni Europe has already handed over the building totalling 6 700 square meters to the tenant at the end of last year. The new premises for Panalpina is part of a larger hall covering a total area of 10 000 square meters. Speculative construction of another industrial building within the same park has also began earlier this month.
"Panattoni Europe offered top-quality industrial space in an ideal location with excellent transport access, that is why the decision process was quick and easy. It marks another important milestone for our development in the Czech Republic," emphasized Robert Sgariboldi, Country Manager for Panalpina in the Czech Republic & Slovakia.
"Buildings at the Panattoni Park Prague Airport II are rising one after another. Last year, we have opened the logistics center for DSV and shortly after we have constructed a second building, for which we have found a tenant in a short period of time. We are now starting construction of another building on speculative basis and already have logistic and production companies showing interest. It seems that speculative development in this location works," stated Pavel Sovička, Managing Director for Panattoni Europe for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
"It is very important for us that the construction does not interfere with the environment of local residents. The industrial park is separated from the suburbs by the D6 highway and we plan for the buildings to have a maximum height that is below this highway in order to keep them out of sight. Last year we even opened a transit bypass in Pavlov," said Klára Sobotková, Commercial Director for Panattoni Europe for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Panattoni Europe is proud of its good neighbor reputation in all of its regions. It builds business parks with respect to the environment and also support of local infrastructure via additional investments. The towns therefore grow concurrently with the industrial zones. It is also thanks to this approach that Panattoni Europe has become the largest developer in Europe.
Panattoni Park Prague Airport II is located near Pavlov in Kladno region, in close proximity to the Prague international airport and exit 7 from the D6 highway in the direction of Karlovy Vary. It is the commercial successor of the already successful industrial zone Panattoni Park Prague Airport I near Dobrovíz.
