Panattoni, market leader in industrial real estate in Europe, will build a new logistics park on the border of Bratislava. The project, called Panattoni Park Bratislava North, responds to the high demand for storage facilities which would provide an excellent transport service for Slovakia, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Hungary.
The logistics area Panattoni Park Bratislava North will be built on 330 thousand square meters of land near the village Plavecký Štvrok with a connection to the D2 motorway. The total investment will exceed 59 million EUR. In the first phase, two modern halls with a number of sustainable elements and areas of 12,000 sqm and 6,000 sqm will be built on the site. Both A-class halls will aim for a high rating in the international BREEAM New Construction certification.
"I am pleased that we were able to secure this location as the third Panattoni project in Slovakia. This location’s long-term potential has been presented in the past, but until now there was a lack of an investor and an industrial real estate developer who would fully uncover and develop it," says Erik Ivaničko, director of the Slovak branch of Panattoni.
The establishment of Panattoni Park Bratislava North will increase supply capacities, which will significantly increase the efficiency of businesses and industrial enterprises around Bratislava. Additionally, it will help the expansion of companies into the desired region, which has been stagnating due to limited logistical capacities. The park will benefit the region, the local governing body as well as citizens. In addition to developing the supply chain, the new park will also help the development of e-commerce.
