Description
The region has a strong tradition mainly in mechanical engineering but also in the brewing industry and in the recent years many high tech manufacturing companies have placed their businesses here. Those companies are attracted to this region mainly because of available and exceptionally well qualified workforce. Amongst the most significant tenants in this locality are Lear Corporation, Assa Abloy, Leoni, Ideal Automotive, Gea, Kion Group and Steelcase.
Panattoni Park will be an excellent base for the suppliers for the German automotive industry in the neighbouring Bavaria. In the southwest triangle between Pilsen, Munich and Ingolstadt there are several factories of BMW, AUDI, Siemens and Continental. Those are connected with Stříbro by the Czech motorway D5 and by a network of German motorways A6/A93/ A9 to Nurnberg, Regensburg and Munich. Stříbro lies in the European railway corridor from Prague to Nurnberg. Four local railways and a bus transport network connecting the City of Pilsen with the surrounding villages are located in this region.
