Panattoni, the leader in industrial real estate in Europe, has another development in Warsaw. In the Rembertów district, construction has begun on City Logistics Warsaw V with a total area of over 11,000 sqm. The building is dedicated to Warsaw logistics and has been built with Small Business Unit modules with a minimum size of 1,080 sqm. The work is to be completed in Q2 2021.

Panattoni, the leader in industrial real estate in Europe, has another development in Warsaw. In the Rembertów district, construction has begun on City Logistics Warsaw V with a total area of over 11,000 sqm. The building is dedicated to Warsaw logistics and has been built with Small Business Unit modules with a minimum size of 1,080 sqm. The work is to be completed in Q2 2021. 

Once again in the capital. The Warsaw logistics market is developing at lightning speed with the highest figures in the country for both the amount of space completed and the amount leased out. Every year the demand for city centres grows and Panattoni has begun the construction of yet another – City Warsaw V. The company is to deliver a building comprising Small Business Units with a combined area of 11,047 sqm 10 km from the centre of the city. It is to be divided into modules for small businesses, which will be able to lease areas as small as 1,080 sqm. Being located on Warsaw's city limits, City Warsaw V will make an excellent base for quick deliveries in the city. The building will also be excellent in serving tenants involved in e-commerce, confectionery, fresh produce and last mile deliveries and the space is also ideal for creating attractive showrooms. The development is to be completed in Q2 2021 and is to be BREEAM certified with an intended rating of 'Very Good'. On the grounds there will be electric car charging points and beehives. 

The development of City Warsaw V has been commented on by Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni: “What marks out a competitive company is being close to the client and having fast services. Companies becoming aware of this results in greater demand for warehouses within cities, and such buildings are proving a great improvement to the ecommerce services of our clients. City Warsaw V is our answer to the needs of the market, which is going to increasingly require urban logistics space. This is also a continuation of our activities in the region where we leased out over 180,000 sqm just in the first half of 2020. Interest in our buildings from various companies is continually growing and we intend to satisfy this demand.”

Warsaw, the ideal place to develop. The Warsaw region is decidedly the most attractive place in the country to develop a business. Within the capital city over 420,000 companies operate, of which almost 10,000 employ over 249 people. With almost a quarter of a million students, in this regard Warsaw is one of the leading cities in Europe and business has access to a wide range of highly qualified labour. This all results in the city having the highest GDP per capita in the country, which in 2018 came to EUR 47,900, twice as high as the other large cities in Poland. The wealth of the region as well as the establishment of new companies and the growth of e-commerce create a demand for warehouse space in Warsaw and its surroundings that came to  4,640,000 mln sqm at the end of H1 2020, the highest in the country.

City Logistics Warsaw V fits in perfectly with the rapidly developing metropolis. The building is within the city limits around 10 km from the centre, which grants effective transport to companies operating in the city. Moreover, the location gives it access to the city's well-developed public transport system with which the centre can be reached in under 40 minutes.
