Panattoni, the European industrial real estate market leader, is supporting the development of the TSL sector. Regesta has leased 33,000 sqm within Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska V. The company is to start operating from its new location in Q1 2024 after relocating from Tychy. In selecting the location and negotiating the terms of the lease, the tenant was represented by consulting company Newmark Polska.
Panattoni and Regesta are once again working together in the Silesia region. After having delivered 17,000 sqm in Tychy (following an expansion from 6,500 sqm), the developer is now to deliver 33,000 sqm at Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska V, which will be the operator's first logistics centre of such a size. The tenant is to take up most of one building and has also secured the option to lease more space thus safeguarding the opportunity for it to expand in the future. Regesta will begin operating from the park in January 2024 when it moves its regional operations and its vehicle fleet base to the park.
"Due to its rapid growth, Regesta, which requires a space much larger than it currently has, is once again turning to Panattoni. This is the best endorsement for us as a proven partner for a growing business. Not only do we have parks in strategic locations, but our team, with its vast experience, is able to adapt the premises to the specific nature of the customer's business. We have already worked with Regesta in Silesia and Pomerania, but we believe that these successful projects will be a prelude to us working together again, also in other regions," - says Marek Dobrzycki, the Managing Director of Panattoni.
"The warehouse at Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska V will serve a strategic function and significantly strengthen our position as one of the leaders in contract logistic services. We have an experienced team and a modern fleet that meets international standards. We focus on innovation and modern technology solutions to guarantee the high quality of our services," - says Marcin Szostak, the Logistics Director of REGESTA S.A.
The modern and extremely large premises will allow the company to ensure key customer contracts are fulfilled and to expand its portfolio of business partners.
"The space that REGESTA S.A. required was not on the market so we decided to put it out to tender for a developer to build a dedicated warehouse with a completion deadline of Q1 2024. The building is to be constructed to a superior fire resistance standard of more than 4,000 MJ/sqm and tailored to the customer's needs and requirements, which includes a specialised vehicle workshop," - says Jakub Kurek, the Director of the Industrial and Warehouse Space Department at consultancy Newmark Polska.
"The main advantages of Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska V include its convenient location and the fact that the space can be fully adapted to meet our client's needs. By leasing a warehouse in this distribution centre, REGESTA S.A. has secured the ideal conditions for its operations and its future expansion," - adds Janusz Dudek, the Senior Advisor, Newmark Polska.
Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska V is located near the A4 motorway just 15 km from the A1, which allows for efficient distribution to both domestic and foreign markets. This includes the Czech Republic as it takes around 30 minutes to drive to the Czech border.
The REGESTA development will be of a very high standard, which is to be attested to by BREEAM certification with a rating of ‘Excellent’. Energy saving solutions as well as solutions to save water are to be employed in the building while the developer is also to ensure that CO2 emissions are to be reduced through using optimal construction processes and utilising the latest building technologies.
REGESTA S.A. has been providing road transportation services as well as domestic and international freight forwarding for 28 years. The company's operations also include contract logistics, as well as shipping by sea and rail. The company has a fleet of 330 trucks and 380 trailers and specialises in coil-well trailer transport. It also works closely with hauliers to create a contract fleet of over 200 at present.
