Panattoni Europe, the leader of the warehouse space market in Poland, has announced that it has finalized a contract to develop a build-to-suit (BTS) facility for Cereal Partners Poland Torun-Pacific (CPP), subsidiary of Nestle and General Mills Inc. The developer will build an approximately 30,000 square metre warehouse near Torun for the client.
Panattoni Europe has signed a contract for yet another large build-to-suit investment. The customer is Cereal Partners Poland Torun-Pacific, a manufacturer and distributor of breakfast cereals and cereal products. The new distribution centre, Panattoni Park Torun, totalling approximately 30,000 m², will be erected in Grebocin, in the Lubicz commune, where one of the production facilities making breakfast cereals and cereal bars is located. The facility to be occupied exclusively by CPP will comprise a warehouse (29,410 m²) and office space (approx. 900 m²).
"The new warehouse in Grebocin, built to the specifications and needs of CPP, will certainly facilitate and improve services provided to our business partners at home and abroad" says Jaroslaw Szczepanowski, CPP's PR Manager. From CPP's production plants, located in Torun and Lubicz, breakfast cereals are delivered to many countries around the world, including Romania, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, as well as the Baltic states. CPP also exports its products to Russia, Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria and the Persian Gulf."
The warehouse for the cereal manufacturer is scheduled to be completed at the end of this year. It will be a high storage warehouse, equipped with automated distribution systems. The lease contract signed with Cereal Partners Poland Torun-Pacific has been concluded for 10 years and is extendable.
