Panattoni Europe, leading developer of industrial space, has announced its planned investments in the Eastern Poland Macroregion. The developer is investing in Rzeszów, creating a new distribution centre with close to 39,000 sqm of space. Panattoni Park Rzeszów will lie next to the A4 motorway and S19 expressway, as well as in the vicinity of the international airport Rzeszów Jasionka and Special Economic Zones. The investment will provide the only grade A warehouse space in the region.
Panattoni Europe has just launched the construction of its own distribution complex in the Eastern Poland Macroregion. Panattoni Park Rzeszów will comprise two grade A warehouse buildings totalling approx. 39,000 sqm of space. The park boasts an excellent location: neighbouring on Special Economic Zones and the so-called Aviation Valley, near the A4 motorway and S19 road, as well as in the direct vicinity of the international airport and railway terminal, creating optimal conditions for domestic and international distribution. The completion of stage one of the investment, with 28,000 sqm, is anticipated in the coming autumn.
As part of the Eastern Poland Macroregion, Rzeszów and its surroundings offer an attractive location for business. This is partly because of investments in road infrastructure - linking the A4 motorway with the S19 expressway, and systematic upgrades of the road network. " For this reason, as a developer, we strongly encourage and support this part of Poland by embarking on a completely new project - Panattoni Park Rzeszów. With the development of the A4 motorway, the region has got "closer", so to speak, to Germany, which means that the interest in this location should be snowballing fast and we are prepared for that", commented Robert Dobrzycki, Managing Partner Panattoni Europe. According to the Regional Aid Map 2014-2020 for Poland, investors in Eastern Poland, including the Subcarpathian (Podkarpackie), are eligible for the highest levels of aid in the European Union. They can get aid from various sources amounting to 50% of the eligible costs of a new project.
Panattoni Park Rzeszów is not the first investment to be implemented in the region by the developer. The firm has already marked its presence here with such projects as the production BTS facility for Zelmer (now Bosch-Siemens) or the factory for Pilkington Automotive Polska (currently extended by an extra 21,000 sqm). The excellent location of the distribution centre is without a doubt one of its key advantages, guaranteeing fast and effective logistics. Panattoni Park Rzeszów lies between junctions on the A4 motorway connecting Western and Eastern Europe and in the direct vicinity of the S19 expressway. It neighbours on the international airport Rzeszów Jasionka - featuring a Lufthansa cargo terminal and one of the longest runways in Poland - and Special Economic Zones.
