Panattoni Gala&Party 2016: 4 million square metres in Europe

Panattoni Europe celebrated the end of its most recent year in the European market and honoured its business partners by handing out Panattoni Awards in five categories. All this happened at the Panattoni Gala&Party 2016 which took place on 15 September 2016 at the Tor Służewiec racetrack with 3D video mapping in steampunk scenery…

Panattoni Europe, the undisputed leader in industrial real estate, has summed up its presence in Europe. Since 2005, the developer has delivered 4 million square metres of modern space, including as much as 3 million in Poland – more than any other developer present in the domestic market. It would have been impossible without tenants – as many as 340 companies leased space or commissioned Panattoni to build their own facilities, both warehouse and production-oriented. Such success was made possible not only by the professionalism of the developer’s entire team, but also thanks to the business partners invited to the Gala – representing real estate agencies, banks or law firms, as well as clients and many subcontractors. Robert Dobrzycki, Chief Executive Officer Europe, Panattoni Europe commented: “The past year, and the last 10 years, were like a dream come true. No-one expected us to be the best or the biggest developer. Our priorities were on people, clients and transactions, which we approached with a good degree of humility. This wonderful and exciting journey was possible because of the support and trust of those around us, the best specialists in their field – you.”

The input of Panattoni Europe’s partners into the development of not just the company itself, but of the entire sector of industrial real estate, was honoured by awarding symbolic statuettes in five categories: the Best Financial Institution 2016 title went to Bank Pekao SA – for professional approach and confidence over many years. In recognition of the commitment and professionalism of the entire team and premium quality service, the Best Industrial Real Estate Agency 2016 award went to the advisory firm Colliers International, while its advisor ─ Łukasz Pańczyk – was named Best Industrial Real Agency Agent 2016, reflecting the number of completed transactions. The statuette for the Best Business Partner 2016 was presented to Raben, for trust and opportunities to close the largest transactions, while the title of the Best Development Partner 2016 was won (for the fifth time running) by Depenbrock – for reliability, effectiveness and quality of relationship.

Gala visuals were primarily large-surfaces and adjustments to the body and interior architecture of Tor Służewiec 3D video mapping projections. Thanks to them we were able not only to move to the world of steampunku and style of science fiction, but to take all the guests to the interior of industrial facilities. For the first time, the gala featured Tony – a personified warehouse facility, the new Panattoni brand mate as of this season. He not only narrated the video about the properties delivered by the developer over the past twelve months, but also acted as the leading character in the animated films explaining the scope and criteria of each of the five award categories. Tony is a model marketing tool of the company and the main protagonist of Panattoni Europe’s new advertising campaign.

The event was accompanied by a fundraiser organised in collaboration with the Order of Malta Poland. The funds raised will go towards financing a summer camp for handicapped youth and adults next year in Poland. This is a continuation of partnership between Panattoni Europe and the Order of Malta Poland – this year the developer was a partner of the 33rd International Summer Maltacamp – a meeting of young disabled Guests and their carers from around 25 countries – over seven days, from 13 to 20 August, 500 participants took part in activities which are usually inaccessible to them, such as: diving, ballooning, cooking workshops or horse-riding.

Panattoni Gala&Party 2016 took place at the Służewiec Horse Racetrack in Warsaw. Its goal was not only to sum up the most recent year of Panattoni Europe in the CEE market, but also to say thank you to the people in the industry, clients, collaborators as well as the developer’s entire team.
