Panattoni Europe, Poland's leader in the industrial space market, has confirmed its position in the industry. In this year's edition of CIJ Awards 2015, the developer won as many as four awards: Industrial/Warehouse Developer of the Year, Leadership of the Year, given to Robert Dobrzycki, as well as the awards for the Marketing Team of the Year and, likewise, the PR Team.
Panattoni Europe again triumphs at CIJ Awards, a competition organised by CIJ Journal - a monthly covering the real estate industry in Central and Eastern Europe. This year's edition was the fourteenth and the award ceremony took place on 5 November 2015 at the Westin Warsaw hotel. On the night, the team of Panattoni Europe was called up to the stage four times to collect the awards in the following categories: Industrial/Warehouse Developer of the Year, Leadership of the Year for Robert Dobrzycki, Marketing Team of the Year and PR Team of the Year. The competition has come to be regarded as prestigious and each edition brings together the representatives of the Central and Eastern European real estate sector. Outside of Poland, it is also held in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.
Industrial/Warehouse Developer of the Year. The award given to Panattoni Europe is an acknowledgement of the developer's ten-year activity in the industry and at the same time a sign of recognition of the incredibly busy 12 months for the entire team - from November 2014 to the end of October 2015. The company's achievements included - apart from the consistent leadership position in Poland - projects already delivered to the CEE market as well as those under development. Speaking of completed investments, the developer may boast such projects as: the recently opened automotive glass manufacturing facility of Pilkington Automotive Poland, which proceeded in several scopes and most recently included a 21,000-square-metre extension, or the now-operational distribution centre for UPS featuring 14,250 sqm. Pending projects, in turn, include e.g. the largest logistics centre in Germany for Jago, totalling 121,500 sqm, the ongoing construction of Panattoni Park Rzeszów and the 19,400-square-metre rolling stock factory for Bombardier Transportation in Wrocław.
Robert Dobrzycki, Chief Executive Officer Europe, Panattoni Europe, collected his seventh Leadership of the Year title. This year's award recognises his ability to get things done and the excellent performance in the CEE region, such as the delivery of 3.2 million square metres of warehouse space, with as much as 2.5 million in Poland, maintaining the position of the most active developer and sparking the trend for building grade A warehouse facilities in non-mainstream locations, e.g. in Rzeszów, Lublin, Szczecin, or Bydgoszcz. The competition jury also took into account Robert Dobrzycki's accomplishments in keeping the vacancy ratio well below the market average at approx. 2 per cent and, last but not least, attracting an investment portfolio worth more than EUR 400 million to fund real estate in Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic.
"Like I always say, each award is a great distinction and honour for us. Each and every one - without exception - is special, but this one I will treat a little more personally. This is my seventh award in this category, in this competition. I am hoping number seven will be a lucky one for the entire team of Panattoni Europe, working relentlessly and tirelessly day after day, for which I thank everyone" - commented upon the announcement of the award Robert Dobrzycki, Chief Executive Officer Europe, Panattoni Europe.
The developer's Marketing Department, headed by Anita Pietrykowska, also collected an award, Marketing Team of the Year - in recognition of the year-long marketing campaign, as well as direct actions addressed to the industry. Moreover, in this year's edition the developer won the PR Team of the Year title for its Public Relations efforts which actively supported the development activity and the marketing strategy as a whole.
Panattoni Europe celebrates its 10-year anniversary in Europe. Since 2005, the developer has delivered 3.2 million square metres of modern space, including as much as 2.5 million in Poland - more than any other developer present in the domestic market. It would have been impossible without tenants - as many as 260 companies have leased or commissioned Panattoni to build their own facilities, both warehouse and production-oriented. Panattoni Europe has sparked a trend for building BTS facilities, notably in Special Economic Zones, and has also opened up the capital market to warehouse space. The firm has built 141 facilities across Europe and closed record-breaking transactions: in Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany.
