Panattoni Europe commercialising Good Point Puławska- 13,000 sqm for Merlin.pl

Panattoni Europe, Poland's leader in the industrial property market, signed a lease contract for space at Good Point Puławska. The new tenant at the distribution centre, owned by the investment fund AEW Europe, is the online store Merlin.pl. The developer has commercialised more than 13,000 sqm of space. 

Panattoni Europe in cooperation with AEW Europe, a leading European real estate asset and investment manager, has announced a new lease - more than 13,000 sqm for Good Point Puławska. The tenant is one of the oldest and largest Polish online stores - Merlin.pl. The company goes back to 1999, when it was set up as a bookshop, while now it has more than 300 thousand products on offer, starting with books, through multimedia, toys and beauty products, to games.

The logistics centre Good Point Puławska is owned by PBWII Fund, whereas Panattoni Europe, in turn, is responsible for the commercialisation of vacant space and servicing the lease contracts in force. Katarzyna Wojtasiewicz, Panattoni Europe, comments: "On the one hand space commercialisation at Good Point Puławska is an example of how Panattoni Europe diversifies its services, and on the other, it provides evidence of growth of the domestic e-commerce sector" adding: "As a country, we are one of the fastest growing markets for internet sales in Europe, with 20 per cent growth every year. This is one of the reasons why we are observing an increased interest of those companies in warehouse space."

Good Point Puławska is a modern logistics centre near Warsaw. It is comprised of one building, featuring 43,500 sqm of space (offices and warehouses), adapted to high-bay warehousing - with clear height of 10 m and floor load-bearing capacity of 6 t/sqm. The facility boasts an advantageous location in the vicinity of Warsaw, at the national road no 79 in Łubna, 15 km from the Warsaw Southern Bypass (S2) and just 25 km from the city centre.

At present, Panattoni Europe is developing 233,600 sqm of new warehouse space in Poland, including two facilities for Amazon in Poznań and near Wrocław. Since the beginning of this year, the developer has delivered approx. 100,000 sqm of space in projects dedicated to such companies as Castorama Polska (50,000 sqm) and Polaris (33,600 sqm).
