Panattoni Europe, Poland’s leader in the industrial space market, is developing a warehouse facility for DSV Solutions. The investment spanning nearly 25,000 sqm is being built at Panattoni Park Janki II and will be delivered to the tenant as early as the beginning of August 2017. The lease was mediated by experts from JLL.
DSV Solutions, part of DSV Group, has chosen Panattoni Europe. The company specialising in comprehensive warehouse logistics solutions will use its facility in Panattoni Park Janki II for logistics processes. The tenant will take up close to 25,000 sqm in the part of the park which is currently under development. The warehousing section will account for 23,820 sqm, while office space – more than 1,000 sqm. The modern building will enable the tenant to handle all planning processes, starting with warehouse operations, through to stock management and distribution. The investment will be handed over to DSV Solutions at the beginning of August 2017, but the company has been guaranteed early, pre-commissioning access to the facility already from the beginning of July. Experts from JLL advised DSV in the search process for new space and in negotiating the terms of the lease.
“In the logistics sector, an announcement of a new location is always something to be happy about. Opening a new facility marks another step in the development of our company and proves that we have chosen the right direction in our strategy. We are proud to communicate another transaction of this kind in a space of just a few months. Our priority is to address all the needs of our clients and to keep improving our processes. The choice of the location in Janki perfectly falls in line with these assumptions, so I am happy to add another item on the map of sites implementing contract logistics projects in Poland” comments Maciej Walenda, President of the Board of DSV Solutions in Poland responsible for the CEE region and Russia.
“DSV Group has for years used the developer’s modern warehouse facilities, running its operations on more than 120,000 sqm of leased space across Poland, but also in the Czech Republic – the company has recently moved into a 25,000-square-metre site at Panattoni Park Prague Airport II” comments Robert Dobrzycki, Chief Executive Officer Europe, Panattoni Europe, and adds: “Being able to work together with DSV Group over so many years confirms the quality of our services, our understanding of our clients’ needs and, most of all, the close relationship and support as they implement their own growth strategies”.
Mateusz Iłowiecki, Senior Consultant at the Industrial and Warehouse Space Department, JLL Poland, reveals: “We appreciate the ability to continue to work together with DSV in defining the long-term lease strategy. Panattoni Park in Janki is an excellent option for relocating one of the company’s logistics centres, due to such factors as the easy access to the S8 expressway, the proximity of Warsaw city centre and the modern solutions fitted into the facility. The comprehensive support and awareness of DSV’s needs enable us to choose the best locations for our client’s business”.
Panattoni Park Janki II is a modern warehouse complex which will comprise two warehouse halls totalling in excess of 32,000 sqm. The park’s excellent location – 15 km from Warsaw city centre, in the immediate vicinity of the Sokołowska junction on the S8 expressway, which connects the S2 expressway with national road no 7 leading towards Krakow and Slovakia – creates the optimal conditions for distribution to Warsaw, Central Poland, as well as all of Europe.
