Panattoni is developing a new logistics park totalling 90,000 sqm in Sosnowiec

Panattoni Europe, Poland's leader in the industrial property market, is now developing a new industrial park in Sosnowiec in Upper Silesia. It is a new location on the developer's portfolio map. After full build-out the distribution centre will comprise 90,000 sqm of space in four buildings. In the first phase of development 21,900 sqm will be delivered.

Upper Silesia is one of the most dynamic regions of Poland as well as an exceptionally attractive logistics hub providing access to the Silesian Agglomeration with its population of 4.5 million and other cities of Southern Poland, including Krakow. That is why Panattoni decided to expand it's presence here by another new city - Sosnowiec. The fast growing network of modern roads and motorways and the vicinity of national borders are advantages that draw in developers, who keep investing and executing projects in this region. In the Business FT 2012 ranking, the nearby Katowice Economic Zone was named as Europe's second and the world's eleventh best economic zone.

Stage one, which is under development at present, will offer 21,900 sqm, including 900 sqm of office space. The proximity of the agglomeration provides excellent access to a qualified labour pool and urban infrastructure.The excellent location near the multimodal Euroterminal and the A4 motorway in the direct vicinity of the S1 expressway attracts many investors and provides unlimited opportunities for business growth.

Right on the S1 expressway and near the A4 motorway, which makes for a convenient connection to the cities of Southern Poland and the rest of the country. Another definite advantage is the park's location just 10 km from the railway Euroterminal Sławków linking Europe, Russia and China and also adapted to the needs of narrow and broad gauge railway.
