midocean has opened a new printing and logistics facility at Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska III. With this new facility of over 40,000 m2, midocean is able to maintain offering high service levels to more than 9,000 customers in the EU.

Panattoni, the leader in the industrial real estate market in Europe, has completed another international project. On Friday the 9^th of September the new printing and logistics facility of midocean was officially opened. The company took up 40,500 m2 at Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska III, from where it will serve customers in almost all of Europe.

From Upper Silesia to the whole of Europe. Panattoni delivered a total of approx. 2 million sq m of industrial space in Upper Silesia, repeatedly confirming the international potential of the region. This time, the developer has completed an investment for midocean – one of the leading suppliers in the European market of promotional items and textiles. The company will use the space at Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska III, and 36,300 sq m will be allocated to printing and warehouse processes. The opening of the new facility took place on September 9, and the ceremony was attended by, among others: Jacek Morek – Acting Mayor of the City of Ruda Śląska, Agnieszka Kubica - Coordinator of the Investor Services Team at the City Hall, Maciej Pachacz – Regional Project Management Associate Director, Panattoni, Marcin Pękala – Property Manager, Panattoni, Stephen Gibson  - CEO midocean, Mohammed Mohammed – General Manager, midocean Logistics Poland Sp. z o.o.

As multi-category specialist and full-service supplier of hard goods and textiles, midocean makes promotional items the most cost-effective, sustainable and fastest accessible marketing tool. The new facility, which is the  most automated and technically advanced warehouse and printing facility in the market, will consolidate the current midocean operations in the region and employ approximately 1,000 employees. The appropriate functional layout of the production space will contribute to the optimization of both printing and logistics processes.

Ecological and for employees. As part of Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska III, midocean will benefit from, inter alia, a photovoltaic installation, a recuperation system, as well as electric car charging stations. In addition, a modern canteen, an outdoor garden and an illuminated shelter for bicycles and motorbikes were built for employees. The company also provides bus transport from nearby towns. The project is located close to the A1 (14 km) and A4 (5 km) motorways, which will allow for efficient domestic and international transport.
