Panattoni Europe, Poland’s leader in the industrial property market, announces the development of Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz, a 26,000-square-metre manufacturing and warehousing project. The park’s tenants are: OPONEO.PL, which has leased 12,000 sqm in a deal brokered by the advisory agency JLL, and ROHLIG SUUS Logistics, which will take up approx. 3,000 sqm.
Panattoni Europe is developing a manufacturing and warehousing project in Cuiavia-Pomerania: Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz, situated partly on the grounds of the former chemical plant, Zakłady Chemiczne ZACHEM, in the direct vicinity of the Bydgoszcz Industrial and Technological Park. A 16,000-square metre facility was completed in April, and a further 10,000 sqm is under development. The centre is being built to the highest standards of class A warehouse space, which is recognised by its tenants. They include: OPONEO.PL – the leading online retailer of tires in the Polish market which, thanks to the mediation of the advisory agency JLL, will take up 12,000 sqm at the park, and the logistics operator ROHLIG SUUS Logistics, which has expanded its contract logistics operation by a further approx. 3,000 sqm in Bydgoszcz.
Bydgoszcz is strengthening its warehousing and logistics footprint in the domestic market, ensuring advantageous conditions for new investment projects. Robert Dobrzycki, Chief Executive Officer Europe at Panattoni Europe, comments: “Bydgoszcz is one of the largest cities in Poland, in the top ten in terms of population size, and one that is increasingly active in business, with a higher-than-average level of enterprise. Because of the presence of important international and domestic investors in the region, numerous infrastructural investments, as well as the thriving Pomeranian Special Economic Zone, the region has also become an attractive location for industrial facilities, manufacturing- or warehousing-oriented. This is evidenced by the development of Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz and the keen interest from new investors it generates.”
Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz comprises two buildings, totalling 26,000 sqm and providing for flexible adaptation of building units. A a result, the investment can cater to the needs of clients representing various business sectors and serve various purposes – from storage to light manufacturing. The park is situated partly on the grounds of the former chemical plant, Zakłady Chemiczne ZACHEM, in the direct vicinity of the Bydgoszcz Industrial and Technological Park, barely 9 km from the city centre of Bydgoszcz, 4 km from the national road no 10 and 10 km from the interchange connecting the national road no 25 and the expressway S10.
