Panattoni Europe, Poland's leader in the industrial real estate market, fully leased building two at Panattoni Park Gdańsk. The new customer is Poland's leading logistics operator - PEKAES SA - which will occupy more than 3,000 sqm. As a result, both of the existing buildings at the park are now occupied. The transaction was mediated by Glob Nieruchomości.
Panattoni Park Gdańsk is a modern distribution centre founded in 2010, with planned space of 46,900 sqm. Even though the Tricity region is relatively new in the warehousing market, both the first facility at the park to be completed, featuring 7,600 sqm, as well as the second planned facility, have been fully leased.
Building two at Panattoni Park Gdańsk provides a total of 8,700 sqm of modern warehouse space. It was chosen by one of the leading logistics operators and supplier of transportation and forwarding services - PEKAES SA. The company will occupy more than 3,000 sqm. The other tenant in the facility is Poland's leading press distributor. Construction works commenced last July and are anticipated to be completed by November this year.
Panattoni Park Gdańsk is situated next to the Major Henryk Sucharski Route, the last leg of the European routes E 75 and E 77, running from the Gdańsk harbour to the southern Tricity bypass, now under construction, and the A1 motorway, and 500 metres from the planned "Błonia" road junction. In addition, due to the location near the harbour and the new deepwater container terminal, the logistics centre is ideally suited for e.g. international sea freight services.
