Panattoni will develop a 34,000 square meters logistics park in Vitoria

Panattoni, leader in the development of logistics warehouses in Europe, has reached an agreement with Gasteizko Industria Lurra, S.A (GILSA), for the purchase of two plots that together add up to 57,000 m2, on which it plans to develop a park of two state-of-the-art multi-customer logistics warehouses in the Jundiz industrial estate, Vitoria. Both buildings, of 19,000 and 13,000 square meters respectively, will be designed as distribution and storage platforms, in what is expected to be a reference park for supply in the Basque Country, surrounding regions and the south of France.

Panattoni, leader in the development of logistics warehouses in Europe, has reached an agreement with Gasteizko Industria Lurra, S.A (GILSA), for the purchase of two plots that together add up to 57,000 m2, on which it plans to develop a park of two state-of-the-art multi-customer logistics warehouses in the Jundiz industrial estate, Vitoria. Both buildings, of 19,000 and 13,000 square meters respectively, will be designed as distribution and storage platforms, in what is expected to be a reference park for supply in the Basque Country, surrounding regions and the south of France.

Panattoni continues to grow in the Spanish market with the announcement of this new strategic project. The commitment to the Basque Country, specifically in Vitoria, is reinforced by the importance of the A-1 axis, a key element in road transport between the Iberian Peninsula and the rest of Europe. Furthermore, it is a strategic enclave at a logistic and transport level, due to its proximity and good communications with cities such as Bilbao, San Sebastian and Santander, and its links with the Atlantic Corridor. Vitoria has important references such as the Mercedes Benz and Michelin plants, among other important companies in the industrial and mass consumer sector.

Conceived for warehousing activities, but prepared for e-Commerce and last mile supply, both buildings will be projected on the highest standards in terms of innovation, design and efficiency of a Class A building. With a clear height of 11 meters, they will be able to store up to six storeys. They will have both trailer and van docks, speeding up the supply process required by the peaks in e-commerce demand. The warehouses will have very good BREEAM energy certification. These buildings have been designed to be able to accommodate several users, with modules from 1,700 m2 onwards.

All this will be brought together by the logistics park that Panattoni will develop in Vitoria in the near future". 

The operation has been advised by Consultora Busenver, s.l., and the marketing of this park has been commissioned by Panattoni to CBRE and UCIEZA real estate services.
