Panattoni Iberia begins construction of the XXL project 'Panattoni Park Miranda de Ebro' in the northern part of the Iberian Peninsula

Panattoni Iberia has announced the start of construction of a new logistics platform in the province of Burgos, specifically in Miranda de Ebro. The total surface area of the complex will be 133,000 sq. m of GLA, to be built in two phases. 
The project will be built on a 284,779 sq. m plot of land and will consist of two buildings: 

• Building A will have a GLA of 62,000 sq. m (1,700 sq. m office area), with an estimated delivery date for Q3 2024
• Building B will have a GLA of 70,900 sq. m (3,530 sq. m office area).

Each building will be able to accommodate 1 to 4 tenants, and can even be grouped together to accommodate a single client in a building of about 135,000 sq. m
Panattoni Park Miranda de Ebro' will have a free vertical storage height of 11,13 meters; 156 loading and unloading docks (72 located in Building A and 84 in Building B); 35 meters of maneuvering area for trucks and 1,292 parking spaces for cars. 
The logistics park is located in a strategic position for transport and logistics, at the crossroads of three autonomous communities, Castilla y León, Rioja, and the Basque Country. Furthermore, its close proximity to the French border positions this development as the ideal hub for serving multiple Southern European countries from a central location. Panattoni Park Miranda de Ebro is within easy reach of the A68 freeway, which connects Zaragoza and Bilbao, and the A1 freeway, which links Madrid to France via the Basque Provinces. In addition, this site enjoys excellent intermodal connections, particularly rail transport, as it is less than 4 km from the Miranda Container Terminal (TCM), which connects with Portugal and with the Ports of Alicante and Barcelona.
This new logistics park will feature all the energy efficiency and environmental innovations in line with the developer's 'Go Earthwise with Panattoni' sustainability strategy. In this regard, it will achieve Breeam Excellent certification, which involves incorporating features such as: photovoltaic installation of at least 100 kW to supply clean energy to each building, parking spaces equipped with electric vehicle chargers and LED lighting systems. These measures will not only reduce the buildings' operating costs, but will also minimize their environmental impact and create an optimal workspace for future users.
