Panattoni announces the lease to Alaska Energies of 'Panattoni Park Getafe I' of 9,200 sqm

Panattoni Iberia, has announced the lease of its 'Panattoni Park Getafe I' , with a surface area of close to 9,200 sqm, to Alaska Energies distributors of top brand photovoltaic products in Europe and part of the mylight150 group.

 Panattoni Park Getafe I', is located in one of the most coveted locations in Spain, within the first ring of Madrid, and is close to the suburban train network and bus stops, with direct access to the A4 and only 18 km from Puerta del Sol, offering a strategic asset to Alaska Energies. This is Panattoni Iberia's first project in the first ring of Madrid, being a commitment of the company to the regeneration of old land with unused or obsolete industrial facilities, called 'brownfields', in municipalities with locations that today are exceptional.

 Panattoni Park Getafe I' is located on a 17,000 sqm plot, where a 9,200 sqm GLA logistics building has been developed. It offers 11 meters of free height, which is designed to be flexible and able to accommodate any type of logistics and industrial activity, for companies that operate in Madrid and the rest of the Community, thanks to its proximity to the largest municipalities of the Community: Alcorcón, Fuenlabrada, Móstoles, Leganés and Parla.

 The logistics building has representative offices of 130 sqm on the ground floor, with 9 loading and unloading bays for trucks, and another 12 for vans, in order to streamline and optimize delivery tasks.

The building has been designed in line with the company's "Go Earthwise with Panattoni" sustainability plan and is BREEAM sustainable construction certified with an 'Excellent' rating. The construction has been carried out taking into account the characteristics of its surroundings. For example, the 130 sqm office area has floor-to-ceiling windows with blinds and light control to take advantage of and regulate the internal lighting. Office insulation has also been increased, both in the facades and in the floor and ceiling. Outside the warehouse, land use has been optimized to implement landscaping proposals with low water use and native vegetation. These features help to reduce the heat, the risk of flooding in the event of heavy rains, and the operating costs of the building. These aspects were key in Alaska Energies' decision making, as it ensures its sustainability over time and the well-being of its occupants.

Panattoni Park Getafe is also known for having been awarded in the category of RE Logistics-sustainable projects of the 'Awards for Efficiency, Sustainability, Innovation and CSR in Logistics 2022' of the magazine Logística Profesional.
