Panattoni, the leading logistics-industrial real estate developer in Europe, has announced the appointment of Laurent Jayr as the new Head of Development for Spain and Portugal. Among his new responsibilities, Jayr will be in charge of looking for new promotion development opportunities for the company, through the acquisition of land for the implementation of projects for both investors and clients.
Laurent Jayr has 25 years of professional experience, working for several European countries such as Spain, France and Portugal, as well as Morocco and Brazil. During his career, he has accumulated 18 years of experience in the real estate sector, especially in the development of turnkey and speculative projects, as well as in the management of asset portfolios and local teams.
His incursion into the real estate sector began in 2003, as Business Manager of GSE Spain until 2006, a company to which he returned during the years 2016 and 2017 as Head of Development. Between those two stages, Laurent Jayr worked as Head of Development for ABCD Ibérica from 2006 to 2009, and as Business Strategy Manager and Sales Manager for Abertis/Saba Parques Logísticos between 2010 and 2015. In addition, he now joins Panattoni from VGP, where he has been for the last 3 years as Head of Development. Previously, Jayr started his professional career in 1996 as Project Manager at the Economic Government Agency of Lyon and its Region (ERAI), until 2001, when he became Director in Spain of AVO, a company in the automotive sector, until 2003.

Laurent Jayr has a degree in Economics and Social Sciences from the Institute of Political Sciences of Toulouse (IEP Toulouse), and a Master's degree in Franco-Iberian Commerce from the Pau Business School (ESC Pau) and Icade Madrid.
