The sustainable property was built on a wasteland measuring around 77,500 m² and has a total of 23,198 m² of usable space. Of that 19,552 m² are logistics space and approx. 2,700 m² are office and social spaces. Comprehensive technical building equipment allows the Eastern Thuringia-based card and game producer of the traditional gaming cards to expand its wide range of family, learning and board games. The building will be used for production, storage, logistics, administration and as a representative site for customers and partners.

Sustainability

The property meets sustainability requirements. The building is only illuminated with LEDs and the hall area is heated without fossil fuels. It is also equipped with a photovoltaics system, a cistern for water collection, electric vehicle charging stations, a solar heater to heat water, an air door system in the area of the loading bridges as well as daylight-controlled exterior lighting. To avoid disturbing the local fauna, bat boxes and bat-friendly lighting, a meadow orchard and an insect hotel were installed. A well-being area was also created to promote the well-being of the staff.
