The CITY DOCK Kirchheim business park has outstanding infrastructure and is located directly in Munich's environment.
Variable halls and office spaces, individual space design, and modular expandable units are just some of the advantages CITY DOCKS has to offer. The sustainable construction method illustrates that ecological and economic interests are not mutually exclusive.
Starting point
Companies in metropolitan areas rely on proximity to customers and employees. In urban locations, the spaces are usually taken or are too expensive. A business park based on the CITY DOCK concept is being realised on a conversion site formerly used by a rail construction company.
Solution
The existing buildings and tracks will be demolished and the site revitalised. Panattoni is thus creating affordable commercial spaces for small to medium-sized companies and quickly growing start-ups. The business park is available to the retail, commercial, and manufacturing sectors and is located close to the city of Munich. There is an added value for future tenants, the community, and its population.
Sustainability
Panattoni attaches great importance to the sustainability aspect in the realisation of the CITY DOCKS and is aiming for the DGNB Platinum standard in Kirchheim. The construction method is energy-efficient, the building materials can be reused by third parties, and pre-fitting for e-mobility is done. In addition, extensive re-vegetation and the installation of a photovoltaic system are planned. This paves the way to a low carbon footprint.
